The folds in the surface of the cerebrum are clearly seen, with the cerebellum at bottom right and the brain stem (medulla oblongata) at bottom centre. This project aims to store structural images of human bodies in digital form, creating an anatomy atlas. The atlas was created by digitising MRI and CAT scans, and may be used for teaching anatomy or for planning new surgical techniques. It is a project of the Department of Biological Structure at the School of Medicine, University of Washington.
