Bone biopsy, computed tomography (CT) scan. This scan has been obtained with a microtomograph, a CT scanner for small samples that magnifies the scan of the structure. Spongy (cancellous) bone is a bone tissue found deep inside bones. It consists of a network of bars (trabeculae) separated by spaces.
