MODEL RELEASED. Stroke patient with left-side paralysis (hemiplegia), wearing an inflatable splint to support her disabled arm so she can support her weight on it. Using her unaffected arm to pull on the orange coloured sling, she is able to increase weight bearing on her left arm and leg & so stimulate recovery. The physiotherapist supervises the exercise, guiding and encouraging her patient.
