HIV+ prostitute. An East African woman, Feliciana aged 28, stands outside her home waiting for male customers. As an HIV-positive prostitute, she is part of a group selected for a study into AIDS (Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome). Although she carries the HIV virus which causes AIDS, she has no symptoms which suggest that her immune system is impaired. The study involves treatment for HIV, as well as monitoring the blood and related diseases.
