Nasturtium leaves. Abstract arrangement of leaves from the nasturtium plant, (Tropaeolum sp). The leaves are peltate (shield-shaped). The leaf veins branch radially from the stalk at the centre of each leaf. These veins then branch further to supply the leaf with water and minerals, and to carry carbohydrates out of the leaf.
