Mezereon plant. Historical artwork of parts of the mezereon plant (Daphne mezereum). This poisonous shrub is used in homoeopathic skin treatments. It must never be ingested internally. The pink flowers are seen at left. Leaves crown the tops of branches (top left and upper right) and a cluster of the red berry-like fruits (drupes) are seen.
