Thornapple (Datura stramonium) seeds and leaves. This plant is believed to have medicinal properties. The seeds and leaves are prepared as a fluid extract, tincture (spirit solution) or cigarettes and are used as a neurosedative and, when smoked, as an anti-asthmatic. However, the plant also contains poisonous chemicals similar to those found in henbane and belladonna, and is not recommended for use in the home.
