Orchid flowers (Liparis condylobulbon). Several tiny flowers are branching off from a central stem. This orchid is found in the tropical areas of South-East Asia, southwards to Australia and eastwards to the Pacific islands. It can be either an epiphytic orchid (one that grows in trees), or a lithophytic orchid (one that grows on rocks). There are more than 30,000 species of orchids worldwide, many of which are grown as ornamental flowers.
