Orchid flowers (Dendrobium secundum). These small flowers grow in clusters on a stem. The orange and white petal on each flower is called the lip. It is a specialised petal that attracts pollinators. This orchid is found in tropical South-East Asia and the Indonesian and Malaysian islands. There are more than 30,000 species of orchids worldwide, many of which are grown as ornamental flowers.
