Powdery mildew. Leaves of a begonia plant (Begonia sp.) infected with powdery mildew (Erysiphe pisi). This fungus takes its name from the numerous white spores it produces, which give its host's leaves the powdery appearance seen here. It can be controlled with fungicide chemicals.
