Copper sulphate reactions. Image 2 of 3. This is the result of the reaction between copper sulphate solution and ammonia. This has formed tetraaminediaqua copper II complex ions ((Cu(NH3)4(H20))2+). The copper sulphate solution before the addition of ammonia is seen in image A500/561. The reaction of this solution with hydrochloric acid can be seen in image A500/563.
