Reading Gaol, Berkshire, England. Opened 1844 and on the same plan as model the prison at Pentonville, arranged in 4 wings joined by central Inspection Hall. Approximately 520 cells, each with hammock, stool, table, gas light, wash basin and WC. Lithograph. Oscar Wilde imprisoned here after his disgrace.
