Plan view showing slate steps leading down from galvanised metal stairs to the slate patio. Raised bed and powder-coated steel planter, with tree ferns, melianthus, phormiums, ornamental grass, banana and olive trees, bamboo and yucca. A copper reflective material is used on the wall behind the planting to create a mysterious mirage-like feeling of increased depth. Along the right wall is a section of raised bed, planted with brunnera. above it climber, Trachelospermum jasminoides scales a taut cable trellis.
