England, Norfolk, Cawston. The nave and aisles of St Agnus' church looking towards the chancel arch where the outline of a wooden crucifix (rood) survives in the original painted plaster. The 15th century hammer-beam roof is decorated with cherubim, full-length seraphim and other standing figures.
