Entrance to a reconstructed hut, located in a ring-fort, showing early medieval (5th-12th centuries AD) building techniques in Ireland. The wall is built of stone and the interior plastered with mud. The roof consists of thatch over wooden rafters. A large piece of timber tied with rope forms a lintel over the door.The door jambs are also made of timber. The door itself is made of poles infilled with woven rope. This hut is part of a reconstructed Ring-fort at the Craggaunowen Project in County Clare, Ireland
