Young robins. Juvenile European robins (Erithacus rubecula) on the point of leaving the nest. The robin is found throughout Eurasia - east to Western Siberia, south to Algeria and on the Atlantic islands as far west as the Azores and Madeira. Robin eggs hatch after 14 days and the chicks are ready to fly 14 days later. The birds in this picture are 14 days old - they flew from the nest 20 minutes after this picture was taken.
