Dorygnathus. Computer artwork of a flock of Dorygnathus pterosaurs flying over a rugged Early Jurassic (about 180 million years ago) European landscape covered in wollemi pine (Wollemia sp.) trees. Dorygnathus had a wing span of about 3 feet (90cm) and their large, curved fangs suggests they fed primarily on fish. Like all pterosaurs, Dorygnathus was a flying reptile and not a dinosaur.
