An oil rig drilling derrick which is 190 feet tall. The Varco top drive assembly (yellow) can be seen suspended at the 90 foot level. Hanging below the top drive assembly are the clamps known as 'elevators' (red), which raise and lower the drilling pipe. This rig, in the suburb of Bridge of Don in Aberdeen, is used by Weatherford for the development and testing of downhole tools and equipment.
