Harvested human corneas. Bank of corneas removed from the eyeballs of dead donors. These corneas will be used in transplant surgery. They are kept in culture solution in an incubator at 31 degrees Celsius. After 6 days they are checked to ensure no micro-organisms that could cause infection have developed.
