USA, Alaska, Copper River Delta. Western Sandpipers (Calidris mauri) and Dunlin (Calidris alpina), in spring migration, stop to feed on the tidal flats of the Copper River Delta. Virtually the entire population of Western Sandpipers passes through the region during the springtime.
