Mount Sabinyo (11,923 feet) is one of three volcanoes of the Virunga chain bordering Uganda. Its name in the local language means father with huge teeth because a row of five sharp rock pinnacles give the appearance of protruding from a long, curved jawbone (its summit ridge)
