Pramila Dongol, a member of the Tharu tribe and staff at Dwarika's Hotel.Located on the east side of Kathmandu near Pashupatinath, Nepal's most sacred Hindu temple, Dwarikas is by far Nepal's most interesting and unusual hotel. The hotel's two-story buildings were constructed in the traditional Newari style, and most rooms incorporate antique architectural details. PATA (Pacific Asia Travel Association) awarded Dwarika's its first PATA Heritage Award in 1980.
