A view of the rugged Goda Massif looking towards the peaks near Dittilou. The trees exist because clouds from the Red Sea rise up the sides of the mountain, bringing with them moisture. The clouds gently settle on high ground like a blanket and create a mist oasis where Juniper, olive and fig trees grow. The vegetation on top of the Goda Massif is more reminiscent of the Mediterranean than Africa.
