The pretty Andean church at the village of Isluga. Built in the 17th century, the church has thick, whitewashed adobe walls. The main building is enclosed by a low wall trimmed with arches. Just outside the wall sits the two-tiered bell tower. Both church and houses in the village remain locked for most of the year - an abandoned village, the inhabitants return only for religious ceremonies and festivals.
