叶尔羌河边的维吾尔族刀郎人烤鱼是先把一条整鱼从背上剖开,去掉内脏,从鱼的上部和下部横穿两条小木棍,再用一根稍长的红柳木棍由尾穿到头。把穿好的木棍的鱼插入河边的沙滩上,排成一排,点燃中间用胡杨或红柳烧起的篝火进行烘烤。(2006年10月28日摄于新疆麦盖提县)
