Blackedge thicklip wrasse (Hemigymnus melapterus) with cleaner wrasses (Labroides dimidatus). This fish can grow up to 90 cm in length. It can be found in the Indo-Pacific region in coral reef areas with mixed sand and rubble. Adults feed on small invertebrates (especially crustaceans) polychaete worms, molluscs and brittle stars. Their colour changes as they develop with age. Photographed in Lembeh Strait, North Sulawesi, Indonesia.
