Bullethead parrotfish (Scarus sordidus), males fighting. These fish can be found in the Indo-Pacific region and can grow up to 40 cm long. They inhabit coral reef, lagoon and open water areas as well as long drop-offs and they adopt different behaviours in various areas. They form large groups that migrate long distances between feeding and sleeping areas. Their main source of food is benthic algae. Photographed in the Red Sea, Egypt.
