Female leopard sharks (Triakis semifasciata). Pregnant female leopard sharks in a shallow bay. This shark is found in the coastal waters of the eastern Pacific Ocean. It grows up to 2 metres in length and feeds on worms, molluscs crustaceans, octopuses and small fish. The female gives birth to between 4-29 pups per litter.
