Varroatosis. Dead honeybee (Apis mellifera) pupa on brood cells. The pupa was infected by varroatosis, a disease caused by the varroa mite (Varroa destructor). A mite is seen on one its hind legs (brown). This parasitic mite feeds on honeybee adults and brood.
