Elaegnus sucker nymphs (Cacopsylla fulguralis) on the underside of an oleaster leaf (Elaegnus sp.). The species of psyllid is a pest of oleaster shrubs. The adult and nymphs feed on plant sap and produce copious amounts of honeydew which encourages the development of sooty mould.
