DEUCE computer. The DEUCE (Digital Electronic Universal Computing Engine) was one of the earliest British computers commercially available. It was built by English Electric as an upgraded and commercial version of the pilot ACE computer, which was developed by the National Physical Laboratory in the late 1940s.
