Circuit board testing. Researcher testing the solderability of an electronic circuit board. This test ensures that the solder, a melted metal alloy used to bond electrical components together, is able to bind to the board and perform normally. A board that is poorly made will prevent the solder from fully adhering to it and may later become detached, breaking the electrical circuit on the board. Photographed at the National Physical Laboratory in Teddington, UK.
