Zwentendorf nuclear power station. This power station is also called Tullnerfeld 1 and is located on the bank of the Danube river, in Zwentendorf, Austria. It was designed as a 700 megawatt (MW) boiling water reactor (BWR) and was expected to generate about 10 per cent of Austria's electricity production. In a public referendum held after it was completed, but prior to being commissioned, the public voted against its operation.
