Glenn's previous space flight was in 1962, 36 years before this mission. On mission STS-95 he made history as the oldest person to travel in space. Also on the mission were: C. L. Brown (mission commander), S. W. Lindsey, S. F. Parazynski, S. K. Robinson, P. Duque and C. Naito-Mukai . The mission lasted from 29th October to 7th November 1998.
