Hydrocotle (Centella asiatica). Hydrocotle is an important herb in Ayurvedic medicine and has a long tradition of use in India to aid meditation as well as for it's medicinal properties. In herbal medicine it is given for a wide range of skin conditions such as leprosy and wounds. It is also used for nervous disorders and to combat senility but should only be used under expert guidance as excessive amounts can have serious side-effects.
