An abdominoplasty (tummy tuck), is a procedure where excess fat and skin is removed from the lower abdomen and the muscles of the abdominal walls are tightened. The stapled abdominoplasty wound is seen at lower right. The surgeon is now making a small incision, through which the liposuction canula (hollow tube) will be inserted.
