William Allen Miller (1817-1870), British astronomer and chemist. Miller's contribution to astronomer was through spectroscopy, which he used to study the composition of the stars. He was awarded the Gold Medal of the Royal Astronomical Society (1867). A crater on the Moon is named in his honour.
