The Champagne Pool at the Wai-O-Tapu (Sacred Waters) Thermal Wonderland Park, near Rotorua, on the North Island, in New Zealand. The surface temperature of this geothermal pool is around 74 degrees Celsius. The water contains minerals such as gold, silver, mercury, sulphur, arsenic, thallium and antimony. These minerals give the water a distinctive colour.
