Camptosaurus bones. Fossilised leg bones of a Camptosaurus next to equipment used for constructing dinosaur exhibits. Camptosaurus was a plant eating dinosaur that lived in the late Jurassic period, about 156-145 million years ago. It measured 5-7 metres long and weighed roughly 1000 kilograms. The feet had four toes and it is thought that Camptosaurs could walk on either two or four legs. This fossil was photographed at Phil Fraley Productions, USA, where in 2007, it is being rebuilt from a 2-D display into a 3-D exhibit to be shown at the Carnegie Museum of Natural History, USA.
