Trace fossils in sandstone. These fossils, known as Cruziana, are the fossilised remains of excavation marks left by Trilobite organisms. These indicate that the sandstone dates from the Palaeozoic era. Photographed in Inakacheker, Tassili du Hoggar, southern Algeria.
