Christ Church College, Oxford University. Also known as 'The House', the building is also the cathedral of Oxford. The college was founded by Cardinal Wolsley in 1525. It was closed and then refounded by Henry VIII as King Henry VIII's college. When Henry VIII split from the Roman Catholic Church he renamed the college as Christ Church and also made it into the cathedral of the city. Trinity College at Cambridge University was also created by Henry VIII during the same year. Photographed in Oxfordshire, England.
