Jelly baby mushrooms. Colony of jelly baby mushrooms (Leotia lubrica) growing on moss. These are the fruiting bodies, the reproductive structures, of the fungi. These mushrooms get their name from the gelatinous nature of their caps and stalks. Photographed in October on Dartmoor, UK.
