Golden-headed sleeper goby (Valenciennea strigata) carrying a shell in its mouth. This fish builds mounds next to its burrow with fragments of corals and shells. It feeds on small invertebrates by sifting mouthfuls of sand. The golden-headed sleeper goby, which grows up to 18 centimetres in length, is found near coral reefs in the Indo- Pacific region. It is a very popular fish in the aquarium trade. Photographed off Tonga.
